APEC 기후센터 연구본부 기후예측팀 김가영 연구원이 21일부터 23일까지 케냐 엘도레트에서 개최되는 The Thirty Fifth Greater Horn of Africa climate outlook forum (GHACOF35) 참석한다.
본 포럼의 주제는 “Building resilience through Regional Climate Outlook forums to cope with the climate variability and change in the Greater Horn of Africa (GHA) in support of climate smart development, disaster risk reduction, Climate change adaptation and sustainable development.” 이며, 김가영 연구원은 이번 포럼에서 WMO 장기예보 선도센터 자료를 이용한 아프리카 지역 우기인 2013 SOND 계절예측에 대해서 발표한다.
김가영 연구원은 참가자들과 아프리카 기후 전망에 대한 의견을 공유하고 25일 귀국할 예정이다.
