The Busan Climate Change Consultative Group (BCCCG), which the APEC Climate Center (APCC) is participating in as a member institute, hosted the 2023 BCCCG Seminar on May 26, 2023, at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO), Republic of Korea. The theme of the event was: ‘Era of Climate Crisis, Climate Industry’s Response’.

The BCCCG, which the Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Regional Office of Meteorology (BROM), Busan Development Institute (BDI), and APCC are participating in as member institutes, was formed in March 2021. The purpose of BCCCG are not only to promote the sharing of science and policies related to climate change within the Busan region through the participation of the public, public, academic, and research institutions, but also to implement the 2050 carbon neutrality in Busan. By doing so, BCCCG hopes that the Busan region will effectively respond to climate change issues.
