Dr. Sungho Woo, a research fellow from Climate Analysis Team at the APEC Climate Center (APCC) was awarded the ‘Reviewer’ prize from the Korean Meteorology Society on October 12, 2015 at the Korean Meteorology Society Academic Conference held in Jeju.
Dr. Sungho Woo was a judge that reviewed papers in the journal, “Atmosphere”, which is recorded in the National Research Foundation of Korea and published by Korean Meteorology Society. He was awarded the prize in recognition of his eagerness and sincerity on his reviews and contribution to the journal’s quality.
For reference, Dr. Sungho Woo completed his Ph.D. in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Seoul National University and joined APCC in July 2015. He has conducted research on different factors of East-Asia winter monsoons such as temperature variability. He also specializes in stratosphere-troposphere interaction and climate & weather of East Asia.
