The APEC Climate Center (APCC) held an annual New Year's Ceremony for 2026 on January 5, 2026.

This ceremony was held to celebrate the hard work of APCC’s employees during 2025 and to look forward to 2026.

During the ceremony, the following awards were distributed: Outstanding Researchers and Staff Award, Excellence in Achievement Award, Excellent Paper Award, and 10 Years of Service Plaque

After the award ceremony, APCC’s Acting Executive Director Hyungjin Kim delivered his New Year's address to APCC's researchers and staff. Then, the Ethics Charter Pledge and Integrity Pledge Ceremony were held.

APCC's Acting Executive Director Hyungjin Kim said, "I really appreciate all of the hard work you have done in 2025. Let's do our best to achieve even better performance and further the development of APCC in 2026 based on our past achievements.”
