Dr. Daeha Kim, a research fellow from the climate change research team, will participate in a meeting to scope the APCC-IRI joint project on rainfed rice productivity. This meeting will be held in Vientiane, Laos from January 17 to 23. In this meeting, Dr. Kim will discuss the collaborative project with an IRI scientist and government delegates.
APCC and IRI are conducting a research project named ‘Contributing to food security with improved climate risk management’. Through this research, we expect to help policy makers by providing prediction information on crop productivity using seasonal prediction data & other crop models.
